Spiral Enteroscopy (SE), is an exciting technique for treating the small bowel that will eclipse other enteroscopic modalities to become the new standard of care. Discover why many other leading endoscopists are embracing the efficiency of SE. |
Course Description
Our faculty will conduct a comprehensive, interactive training program for spiral enteroscopy at the Kothari Medical Centre & Research Institute; Eastern India's premier ultra modern, tertiary care hospital. Training consists of two full days of observation and hands-on procedure training. The training session will begin with a review and discussion of the spiral enteroscopy technique, selected scientific papers and visual aids. The instructors will then demonstrate and describe the procedures in detail, followed up with a summary and question & answer period.
During the two days of training each attendee will perform up to five procedures under the direction of the faculty. This will include consultation and assistance by the instuctors during the procedure. Following each day of procedures there will be debriefing centered on the training experience and technique. Post procedure patient follow up will be collected on each procedure and shared with the physicians. |
