We have installed state of the art Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Double Ballon Enteroscopy (DBE) for the first time in Eastern Region of India at our Department of Gastroenterology. For the first time in India we have introduced spiral DBE.

Specialty Clinic

One of the Best Specialty clinic where Exclusive Consultation in an ambient atmosphere by the Doctors of all discipline from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Prior appointment with Specialty Clinic Receptionist desirable) We are having the sitting capacity of around 100 person at a time. A very hygienic & attractive cafeteria is available to serve the patients & patient parties.

OPD

In all disciplines – consultant doctors examine patient in the outdoor clinic from Monday to Saturday between 9 am to 1 pm.

Pathology

We have a very advanced laboratory set up with all day-to-day laboratory tests required. It provides 24 hours service. The lab has different units namely :

5. P.C.R. laboratory  
6. Clinical pathology  
7. Biochemistry. 

Radiology

The department is we equipped with advanced Ultrasound machines. Routine USG and USG guided interventional procedures are done daily in addition to portable (bed-side). USG facility for critically ill in- Patients.  Colour Doppler USG System with multiple multi frequency transducers available. Patients from far and wide including Bangladesh regularly utilize the services of the Department.

Blood Transfusion Service

We are also having the facility of supply of whole blood, blood components being tested for HIV,  HBV, HCV, Malaria Syphilis is available here for 24 hours. Facilities for transfusion of Blood and Blood components for Chemotherapy to Oncology patients are available at the adjoining day care centre.
